I really hate those 'what are you interested in' things. Those boxes are just that - they box you in, make you feel restricted. Hell, words are resticting enough without that.

So here are these words. They are mine. You are reading them. The words are watching you, for all you know, making comments on your hair. Yeah, YOUR hair. What ARE you thinking?!

No, I'm not fashionably weird. EVERYBODY is fashionably weird. I can't even say that I'm myself; people who say 'just be yourself' almost always say it too glibly. I am whatever shapes me at that moment. The idea of 'self' is far too ill-defined in any case.

After all, what is a 'person'? The physical body, or the abstract collection of vague memories and perceptions that seem to inhabit it? Pah. Meaningless. Do not say that I am myself, for I do not. Not here.

I should probably stop now. I may have told you too much about myself already.

(P.S.: Apparently you're only allowed to be interested in 4 things. To Perdition with that.)
